THE SEARCH FOR GOD

For many the search for God has been a life long effort. Often because somewhere within themselves is a nagging desire for knowledge that resonates as truth. This desire creates the journey of the search for truth concerning our origins and our purpose for experiencing this life. As a child you accepted the religious beliefs of your parents simply because you trusted their judgement. You did not choose this specific religion; you were born into it. In time questions arise that one’s religion fails to answer adequately and blind faith just doesn’t cut it.

Many of all denominations accept what they are taught blindly. They reject any information that is contrary to their beliefs. And some folks do so adamantly or in anger. They are not open-minded to evaluate any new information, or to accept that there is more knowledge available. Any form of knowledge has the possibility of lacking additional or new information. You, as an individual owe it to yourself to seek out more of what is true. What may appear as truth for some may not be so for others.

Organized Religion

Organized religion first took form in 325 A.D when the Roman King Constantine was concerned about the growing populations of Pagans and Christians. He feared conflicts among them as he had limited resources to control any outbreaks. He sought to create a religion that combined Pagan rituals with Christian beliefs. He used the death of Jesus as a means for salvation. Stating that Jesus died as a sacrifice in atonement for the sins of mankind and that one’s salvation depended on the Church and adhering to its Dogma and doctrine. Christianity as we know it, began with the creation of the Roman Catholic Church.

His intention was to control the masses through a man-made religion of which he declared himself as a god and made Catholicism the State religion of Rome. At that time Church leaders were comprised of rich landowners and not those of religious training. This occurred approximately two hundred years after the death of Jesus. Today, Christianity has transitioned into various denominations, due to differences in beliefs.

Jesus was An Essenes

Jesus was an Essene. The Essenes were a secret sect of the Jewish people. They were Gnostics a community of those who sought Gnosis knowledge. Not informational knowledge but a knowing of truth. Jesus and his family were members of this community, and he was a student learned from them. As he became an adult he went out on his own as a Master teacher of what he had learned. Essences normally kept this information away from non-believers.

Jesus made it his mission to show the world the way to the truth. That there is no one chosen people, that all are children of God and loved unconditionally. He taught that the Kingdom of God is within us all. That the spark of the Creator is housed within our physical bodies. We are not our bodies; we are spiritual beings experiencing life. In a world full of darkness and despair, he demonstrated to humanity who they truly were and where they came from. He taught love, kindness, compassion and the need to be of service to others and implemented it through his actions. Jesus did not die to save us from our sins; he died because he challenged and was a threat to the establishment and was crucified as a heretic.

In order to support the agenda of the Catholic Church, specific written works like the book of Enoch, and Ancient Gnostics works, were not included in the bible as written by the Church. Simply because these works contradicted the need for the Church and would have put them out of business. History shows, during the Inquisition, any written works contrary to their agenda was destroyed. Hundreds of thousands of manuscripts were lost when they burned down the library of Alexandria in Greece.

The Gnostics were driven underground in hiding as many were tortured and executed. Anyone who practiced healing arts, were also sought out and eliminated as being works of the devil. Just the thought that they went to such extremes is evidence that they had something to hide.

In 1947 the Nag Hammadi scrolls were discovered buried for safe keeping for over two thousand years. These scrolls written by Gnostics show a different version of Jesus’s life then what is depicted in the bible. They elaborate on who we are and our innate spiritual abilities that humans possess, abilities that were lost as a result of the Inquisition.

All of creation is an emanation of the Creator. Nothing exists outside of God. All creation lives within the eternal consciousness of the Creator. You, and I are all aspects of the Creator individualized with our own sense of self and perception of the world we live in. We are God experiencing itself in totality. We experience so that God can know itself from experience. There for we experience all that is in harmony of the Creator, and all that is in misalignment. Evil is not of God but necessary to experience so that God can learn and grow from what it is not.

In the Search for God, you simply have to go within and tap into the quietness of your mind. Listen for the small voice and commune with it. Ask to be shown the way and look for the answers and signs that appear in a synchronistical manner. Your true salvation is to awaken to the truth of who you are and where you came from; and to live your life as your spiritual self.
