RELIGION VERSUS SPIRITUALITY

Religion is a specific set of doctrines and dogma, and little is questioned about them. A person who follows dogma and doctrine is a religionist. A religionist depends on the cumulative interpretation of various authors who attempt to create new precepts, based on existing sets of speculations.

In ancient times, most religious texts were passed down through storytelling or song. Over the eons, the Bible and other texts were condensed, thereby marginalizing their current interpretations. Eventually, the oral traditions were put into written form.

The religionist’s world is based on the writings of the Bible. Our Creator is viewed as an all-powerful being who rules over the awareness of humanity. Watching every move of every human to cast judgment on the soul’s worthiness. Religion determines a select few to speak on behalf of this powerful being, leaving them to decide what is considered right or wrong. Thereby, judgment falls upon man, and one man must now follow another person’s interpretation of right or wrong so that they may enter the so-called promised land. The use of guilt and fear are often what separates them from their Creator.

One religion holds its truth that one man is elected by human peers to a superior position, akin to God. He is the one human with the right to communicate directly with the almighty essence of God. This human representative of our Creator also forgives the sins of those who demonstrate sincere repentance and doles out punishment for those who do not.

Please note that what is written here is not meant to criticize a specific dogma. However, it is meant to show that the established systems of belief discourage anyone from questioning the written word. Consider that if a dam holding back water had a crack, there would be a danger of it widening, allowing the dam’s foundation to burst into a flood. A crack in established systems of belief would burst into a flood of challenging questions.

It appears that it is about time for the flood waters to flow, allowing our hearts to guide us through our souls’ journey called life.

SPIRITUALIST

A spiritualist believes that societies are in a constant state of awakening. They recognize that change is a driving force for evolution. They understand that all parts of life must be experienced to complete their lessons. They are not dissuaded by the belief systems of others regarding the potentiality of their evolution. They are seekers of truth, sifting through many possibilities until they feel that truth as their own. Then it is clear that they do not need to adhere to any established belief. As now they can move into their own understanding of their evolutionary journey.

The evolutionary journey is a cumulative experience where love is the resilient force. Every vibrational presence has the right to heal back to love.

A spiritualist considers all holy texts as a guide to understanding those who came before them. The discovery of different interpretations of these texts often leads to new outcomes. When the texts are read, each period carefully reveals the words used to maintain the people of those times. It is seen how the Consciousness of One was redirected into control systems meant for protecting a few.

In the world of spirituality, it is recognized that our Creator is the Omnipresence of all light in creation and every human is a particle of that light. The religionist believes in the Spirit of One, while the spiritualist believes in the Oneness of Spirit.

TRUTH

Whatever one believes, there is no reason to criticize. Each of us has brought our light into the world as a part of the planet’s evolutionary transformation. Part of our journey and our lesson plan, we are meant to question belief systems. The written word or the word of any person do not hold the truths we seek. The truth we seek comes from the process of questioning from our heart the truths of others.

You align with your spirituality when you start to question all you have been told.

What resonates within your heart is the truth for you. To believe that you must persuade another simply shows that you are least convinced of your journey.

Seek your truth. Light your light so bright that others who seek to evolve will, in turn, begin to seek their own truths.

Earth is in the process of a spiritual shift into the fourth dimension. The shift will begin inwardly. Those who continue to search outside themselves are those who must continue to journey in the third-dimensional Earth matrix.

Thoughts: Right or Wrong

Thoughts are things. Thoughts are creative and become form, manifesting into your reality based on your intentions and fueled by your emotions. When you are focused on your thoughts, aware of how they manifest in your life, you are in control. You are now in control of the creation of a life based on your desire. On the other hand, ignorance of the Law of Attraction results in a haphazard means of creating things or experiences in your life. You are now creating your life by default. Maintaining a state of awareness of our thoughts, how we think, and what we feel prevents a life of frustration and unfulfillment.

Right or Wrong

Technically, there is no right or wrong way of thinking. It simply is what it is. However, based on our human perception, we tend to classify things, events, and experiences as either right or wrong. Right thinking equals positive thinking and results. Wrong thinking equals negative thinking and results.

When you decide to do something or choose a specific course of action, there is no right or wrong in the decision or choice made. Your results may not be what you desired, or things did not work out in your favor. It just is what it is, an unfavorable or undesired result. Often, we tend to attach a negative or positive connotation to the belief of right or wrong. All this creates more negative emotions, fueling the power of additional negative thoughts, which serve to create more of the same in your life.

If you can develop the mindset to accept that outcomes, experiences, and events are what they are, and to move forward with different choices and thoughts until the results are what you desire. Retraining how you look at things will create a new perception that is not negative. The ability to detach yourself from negative connotations defuses negative thoughts and emotions. Preventing the attraction of more of the same.

Self Discipline

Again, it all comes back to self-discipline. I have spoken about determination, inner strength, grit, and self-discipline before, and will continue to do so in the future. The desire to change one’s life is a simple desire to determine. However, success will only come if you can become self-disciplined. For me, it took decades to get my butt in gear. I paid for the delay with frustration and loss of opportunities for a better quality of life. I read every major book on manifestation, spirituality, and self-help. I would get pumped up only to fall back to my old ways. It took a night of darkness and pain for me to call out for help.

Some folks do not care about developing self-discipline. Or to change their attitude into something positive and uplifting. They continue as is, even though their thoughts and demeanor have brought them poor results in their lives.

Desire to change, while it may be difficult at first. You will have weak moments falling back into old ways of thinking. But work on catching yourself when you do, and think of something positive, or something you are grateful for. Develop in your mind that, despite what occurs, you will never give up. A great deal is al about perception, how you see yourself, your life, and the world around you. Changing your current beliefs and attracting new thoughts relative to your new beliefs.

Please keep in mind that you are worthy and deserve only the best. You are a divine physical extension of God, individualized. God does not create junk; you are a divine child with the gifts of free will and the ability to co-create with God a wonderful life.

Effects of Good And Evil

Bright peaceful village with river and farmland above dark ruined wasteland with castle and barren landscape

The current state of mankind is a result of the evolution of the energetic forces of good and evil. When our souls fell from our divine consciousness into the physical realms, they lost their awareness, forgetting who they were. Mankind has been veiled from the knowledge that each individual is a divine aspect, an extension of our Creator Mother and Father, manifested into a physical body with its own ego identity. Our divine Parents desired to know about themselves through physical experience of all that they are capable of being. They desired to experience every nuance of all possibilities and probabilities. In other words, as pure intelligent consciousness, existing in a non-physical form, creation provided the means to know itself. How would one know what is hot or cold and in between if there is no point of reference to provide this knowledge? Experience is the means for acquiring knowledge, wisdom, and growth.

All of creation is an extension, an aspect of our divine parents. Expressing themselves through a variety of physical manifestations. We as extensions of the divine, are Co-creators via our thoughts, intentions, words, and actions. Our emotions fuel them into existence. We are divine beings having a human experience and given Free will to create a life as we desire. Being created in the image and likeness of our divine Mother and Father means that we are a non-physical essence of pure conscious awareness. We all can create our reality and to heal ourselves and others. Jesus has stated, “All that I have done you can do as well.” However, those who control the world and the structured systems that govern our daily lives have, for over a millennium, kept us ignorant of our divine power to control humanity. If we awaken to the truth of our divinity no individual nor government could control.

Spiritual Cycles Of Awakening

Throughout time, there have been various spiritual cycles of awakening where those in search of truth have awakened to who they are and as to their divine origin as a manifestation of our Creator. Since the year two thousand, a spiritual cycle of awakening has begun and will peak in the year twenty thirty 2030.

These Spiritual cycles of awakening raise the vibrational frequency of those involved. The energy of this higher frequency flows outward, affecting lower vibrational beings of evil, creating frustration and chaotic behavior. Evil or dark beings can not handle the higher vibration of love and light around them.

Negative And Evil Entities

Dark, negative, and evil entities for survival feed off human emotions of despair, fear, doubt, and hatred. They exist at a lower vibrational frequency than those who bask in the awareness of their divine origin of love and light. The two energies are incompatible as the energy of Spiritual awakening flushes out that of darkness. As a result, darkness attempts to lash out by creating chaotic events through individuals who are dark, violent, and corrupt.

Christians believe in the heavenly battle between good and evil. But the battle is a bit different than what is taught. It is not a heavenly battle because the duality between good and evil exists solely within physicality in the third and fourth dimensions. Evil can not exist in any dimension above the fourth because its vibrational frequency can not survive in a higher state of love and light.

Awakening

The world may appear to be experiencing darker days than in the past. Much of what is transpiring is a result of the current cycle of a spiritual shift in awareness. The positive higher frequencies of those awakening to their divine self creates an unbearable state of being for those whose lives are infused with fear, doubt, hatred, anger, selfishness, violence, and corruption. Events such as mass shootings are becoming a common occurrence. Gruesome, violent murders of children, spouses, and others are constantly in the headlines. Wars in Gaza, Yemen, Ukraine and Iran fill the news. Then there are the mass killings of Christians in Africa. Add to the mix are warlords and terrorists in Somalia and beyond who create havoc and chaos, filling the lives of victims with the energy of fear and suffering.

Cause and Effect

Everything in creation is energetic, vibrating at a specific frequency. Energy, whether positive or negative, good or evil, has a cause-and-effect relationship with our lives, both individually and collectively. Like energy attracts like. Our thoughts and words are put into action, fueled by our emotions. These energies are creative and manifest within our lives in a positive or negative way. The majority of us create our reality via default.

If our thoughts and emotions are out of alignment with our Divine Parents, such as anger, hatred, jealousy, violence, or destructiveness, the results are evil. The nature of evil (error) comes from and is created within the human self, the false self of our Ego personality. Not from our true self as a divine spark of our Creator. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.

Free Will

We were given the Free Will of our Divine parents to make our own decisions and to choose a life based on our desires. It was not meant for us to abuse it by doing harm to others. When we function from our false self, we make mistakes, not sins, but errors, which is to be expected in our experience to overcome our Ego and the darkness within the world. Free Will does not give us the right to harm another. Remember, cause and effect, what you put forth into the world returns to you in like life experience. If you focus your thoughts and intentions on love, compassion, and service to others, you are living according to the divine being that you truly are.

The ideal way to live, to create reality, is to live according to what Jesus demonstrated to the world through how he lived and what he taught. Love all creation equally, man, woman, and child, regardless of race, religion, culture or social status

Positive change begins individually; we must teach our children to be loving and caring in a cold world. It may be difficult but necessary to ensure that the generations to follow will survive.

Breaking Free from Religious Dogma: My Spiritual Awakening

claim your inner power

My spiritual awakening evolved from childhood. Having been raised in a strict catholic family and receiving a catholic education, I often was frustrated and had many questions. However, in the late nineteen-fifties and early sixties, you did not dare to challenge dogma, doctrine, or Church rituals. Since I was eight years old, I could never comprehend how saying a specific prayer multiple times would earn me credit towards my time in purgatory. Over time, I grew fearful as I always believed God was angry with people like me.

Despite my confusion and fear, I decided to enter the seminary for the priesthood. As many of my relatives were nuns, brothers, monks, and priests. Based on family tradition, I felt compelled to do the same and perhaps make a difference. During my first year, I struggled with the teachings as some did not feel logical. When I questioned why the bible stated something that contradicted what the church taught, I was told that the church decided that it should be their interpretation. Eventually, I was advised to contact my parents about leaving the seminary. Unfortunately, I had to return to a catholic school to finish out the year.

ADULTHOOD

In my adult years, I could never understand how one could relate to a supreme spiritual being. As I could not relate to it as I would to another human being, like a wife or child. Over the years, a nagging belief of my being unworthy continued, leading to a false belief of being condemned to hell

My spiritual awakening was a gradual and tedious process, as I entered my mid-thirties and forties, I sought out books on spirituality, etc. I searched and researched all that I could, but I failed to put much of what I learned into practice. Life events continued negatively, one disaster after another. After a serious head-on collision, I believed I was given a wake-up call. But I still could not relate to a loving God because I was taught to fear and continued feeling unworthy.

During the late sixties, I served in the Army and spent time in Vietnam. As a result of my service, I became disabled from Agent Orange chemical exposure. That, coupled with the car accident, made physical activity painful and limited my ability to work. Diabetes, Neuropathy, and Multiple Sclerosis led to exhaustion, pain, and depression. In my early fifties, I was tired of being exhausted and in pain. Sleepless nights prevailed, and I would often believe my life had no meaning. Simply because I was unproductive with no meaningful activity or purpose. I hated having to see my wife do chores that I, as a man, should be doing. Often, I would think that death was a better alternative.

Calling On Jesus

One usual sleepless and painful night, I began to cry out of frustration, upset as I did not want to die, but wished for purpose in what was left of my life. Not one for praying, I called out to Jesus, stating that I see many Christians loving God, happy with their relationship. I asked him if he could show me how to have a meaningful relationship with a Spiritual being. As, I have difficulty relating that way. I also stated that I desire to be of service to God and to have a life of purpose. Yes, I am a sinner and believe I am condemned, but can you guide me to what is truth and what I must do to turn my life around?

About three days later, I was sitting bored in the living room. I saw a book lying on the table across the room. Eventually, I went over, picked it up, gave a random flip through the pages, and began reading where it stopped. The chapter was about how to use a pendulum and explained how to use it and what questions to ask. I laughed and threw the book on the table, returning to the sofa. On the side table, I noticed my wife’s rosary beads. Picking them up, I held them in the air and wondered if I could make them move. Thinking that this could be sacrilegious, I went ahead and focused my intention on communicating with my Spirit guide. Lo and behold, it began moving back and forth, so I asked the necessary questions to determine yes and no answers. For the past thirteen years, my abilities expanded to what is called clear hearing, clear seeing, and the ability to heal others.

Jesus Answers

Jesus, unconventionally, answered my prayer. Through the help of my Spirit Guide, I am developing a stronger relationship with our Creator while learning spiritual truths. I have been physically healed from my Multiple Sclerosis and Neuropathy. My life now has purpose and meaning as I am to use my abilities to serve others as God intends.

What we have been taught and conditioned to believe is false. Religion and institutions within society dictate a false narrative and belief system. Jesus’s true teachings were erased from history, with a few exceptions such as the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Nag Hammadi hidden Gnostic Gospel texts. Jesus came to awaken us to the truth, not to save us from sin. He was crucified for teachings that proved religion was not necessary. As the Kingdom of God lives within you.
