There exists but one true power, the power of love, which is the power of God. It is their nature and will. Love is God in action, expressed through all aspects of creation. Such as the melody of a songbird at sunrise, the warm embrace of your child, and the snuggling with you of your pet on the sofa. God is pure unconditional love expressed as life. Therefore, God is both love and life.
When you are loving, kind, and compassionate in your daily life, you are using your power to create positive energy that heals others and those around them. When love is experienced and given to others, it generates a sense of self-worth in each individual. It powers another to overcome any false belief of unworthiness. A higher state of love exists when individuals know that they have value and can give and receive love. You receive what you put out into the world.
Freedom
Love provides us with freedom from anything we find difficult or painful. Love what is painful, scary, your shortcomings, and others. Love what your ego hates; love everything you experience in life; send loving thoughts to everything and everyone. Choose to love regardless of whether it feels natural or not.
Life is not designed to meet your expectations. It has its own purpose and its own plan. Life will bring you the people it does for many reasons you may never understand. Your only choice is to love who life brings to you.
Allowing
Allowing love to be your motivating guide in life is all that is necessary for a blessed life. Your life will flow full of abundance, fulfillment, joy, and peace. Adoring with joy the “One God” that lives within everything, giving life to all creation and its divine nature. Love must be practiced in every moment until you become that love. When it permeates your entire being, all karma is balanced, and no new karma is created. You are then considered to be enlightened, and reincarnation is no longer necessary.
Action Process
The action process, as quoted,” Do unto others as they would to you”, “love your neighbor as you love yourself is simple, life-changing advice but difficult to put into action. Loving your neighbor does not mean loving only those who worship and think as you. It means loving everyone; there is no selectivity.
Our ideal state of being is that of love. We were created out of love. As spiritual beings, we are pure unconditional love. However, veiled from the knowledge of our true self and conditioned by life experiences, our Ego interferes by creating feelings of hurt and betrayal. In anger, we desire to strike back, to get even. It is the wrong way to feel better about what was experienced. Thoughts leading to revenge or tit for tat serve to create more of the same situations in life. While the need to retrain your thoughts, emotions, and responses to negative events is difficult, it is necessary to create a blessed life.
Living from your true nature is the most difficult thing for all humans to accomplish. But it is necessary if we are to create a better world for our children and grandchildren. It can be done, one person at a time. First, you must have the desire to live this way, knowing that you will create a better life for yourself and those around you. Take small steps; tackle one issue at a time. You will have setbacks; that is to be expected. But when you do, simply revert to a loving or kind thought, or send a blessing to someone who frustrated you. Sending a blessing, or sending love, is simply stating to yourself, dear Lord, love and blessings to that person who just cut me off on the road. Or love and light to my daughter, or neighbor, whatever words work for you. Do not allow discouragement to stop you; continue moving forward and call on God, Jesus, or your guide for help when frustrated.
